Motherwell hero Kevin van Veen hasn't lost his scoring touch amid a summer of speculation that eventually saw him leave Fir Park for Dutch Eerste Divisie side FC Groningen.

For the Dutchman netted just 20 minute into his debut for his new side yesterday.

Van Veen, who netted 29 goals in all competitions last season, picked up where he left off in Scotland, scoring the second goal in the FC Gronigen's 2-0 win over amateur side VV Annen.
