Recently, the Delhi High Court ruled that Mr Singh and his wife from Karawal Nagar must vacate his parents’ house and remove any locks they put on it. This judgement came in a case where the son (Mr Singh) continued to stay in his mother's house after marriage even though he does not have any independent title to the house, while his mother has a General Power of Attorney (GPA), an Agreement to Sale and a Will, proving she is the sole owner of the house.
