Mother who killed baby daughter with heat from hairdryer due to be sentenced

Courtney Gartshore was convicted of culpable homicide in July (Police Scotland/PA) -

A mother who killed her three-month-old daughter with heat from a hairdryer is due to be sentenced on Friday.

Courtney Gartshore, 28, used the appliance to subject Dahlia-Rose Gartshore to “significant and sustained heat” on the head and body, fatally injuring her.
