In an open letter, Marcy Gray expressed deep remorse, stating that she will never be able to forgive herself for the devastating events. Despite the gravity of the situation, she emphasized that her son is not to be labeled as a monster.
Following the incident at Appalachee High School, questions have arisen regarding the preventive measures that could have been taken. Marcy Gray had reportedly contacted the school on the morning of the shooting, alerting them about an extreme emergency. However, within 30 minutes, her son, Colt Gray, tragically took the lives of two teachers and two students.
