The mother of 18-year-old Dontae Davis, who was stabbed and killed in Lawrence Hill, has described him as a "strong, loving, caring, charming and thoughtful" son.
Along with the rest of his family, Dontae's mother Niquae paid tribute to the young man on the day of the sentencing of 19-year-old Kairon Sawyers - who originally claimed he had been acting in self defence when he stabbed and killed Dontae - at Bristol Crown Court.
In the moving tribute, Dontae's family said: "Dontae was strong, loving, caring, charming and a thoughtful son, brother, nephew and a friend to all. A young man of justice who always loved to do right for others and loved football, music and online gaming with his siblings and friends.
