The mother of slain schoolgirl Charlise Mutten has been charged over her alleged role in a home invasion in the NSW Blue Mountains.
Nine-year-old Charlise was allegedly shot dead in January while staying with her mother's fiance, Justin Stein, at a lavish property in the Blue Mountains.
Her body was found inside a barrel near the Colo River four days later.
Police have alleged she was killed by Mr Stein, who remains in custody charged with her murder.
Mr Stein maintains his innocence.
The following month, police found two firearms and ammunition in nearby bushland.
Police have not confirmed whether the weapons were used in Charlise's killing.
In May, Mr Stein was charged with acquiring the two weapons during a home invasion in Mount Wilson last August.
On Thursday, police also charged Charlise's mother Kallista Mutten, 39, for allegedly participating in the same home invasion.
Ms Mutten was charged yesterday at Campbelltown Police Station with aggravated break and enter in company.
She has been granted bail and will appear at Campbelltown Local Court next month.
Ms Mutten has not been charged with her daughter's murder.
