Emma Jones has shut down an online troll for using her pictures as part of a catfish profile on dating app Tinder.
The presenter, who works on the BBC's MOTDx coverage, took to social media to share a screenshot of the account, which had the name Amber and the age 35. In actual fact, Jones is 32 and she was keen to point that out with an amusing caption on an Instagram story.
She wrote: "If you're going to fake a Tinder profile, please don't make me older". Jones is a vocal Leeds United fan and was in attendance at Elland Road for Saturday's enthralling Premier League clash with Bournemouth, which the Whites won 4-3.
This is not the only time she has had to call out a troll in recent weeks. In late October, she received a direct message from an Instagram user which read: "You can throw me around the bedroom if you like". The message was in response to a story which had the caption: "Why does my arm look like Judi Hench?" In response to the troll, Jones simply replied: "No, Joshua".
Jones is a regular host on MOTDx alongside former Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder Jermaine Jenas. She is a highly-popular presenter and has amassed an enormous on Twitter and Instagram, with a whopping 372,000 followers on the latter social media platform.
She worked for Leeds' television station in 2017 and has since had roles with Channel 5, Bauer Media and Viking FM. She has also presented for Squawka, William Hill and Mola TV, while she balances her duties with Premier Sports TV and Viaplay with her MOTDx job.

Earlier this year, fellow presenter Laura Woods leapt to Jones' defence after online "misogynists" criticised her for the dress she was wearing on a rugby pitch. She captioned her initial post: "This dress sat through a 3-course meal and came away unscathed. I don't even know who I am anymore!"
In response to the criticism, Jones wrote: "Thank you to the overwhelming majority of you who have called out the few misogynists & dinosaurs in the replies to this. Unfortunately it's usually those people who shout the loudest. I was hosting an awards ceremony & I felt lovely in my new dress, so I wanted to share it."
Adding her support, Woods added: "What some people don’t get is…you're allowed to be both! You're smart and you're beautiful. One shouldn't and doesn't cancel out the other. I absolutely love seeing other people's glams, women AND men. And if you stopped posting them I'd be pretty disappointed tbh [to be honest]."
