The 10 most-valuable U.S. brands

It's no secret that some companies are more valuable than others, but what's the value of a really strong brand?

Independent consultancy firm Brand Finance compiled 2024's most valuable brands based on a series of factors including brand strength, brand performance and commercial success.

While it's certainly less finite than market capitalization, it's hard to argue the value of consumers recognizing a product from little more than a logo.

Transcript:

Think about the phone you have.

Did you buy that phone because of a ton of personal research or because of the logo on the box?

Bear with us:

Market value measures the entire worth of a company.

The number is based on the company’s performance, the conditions of the stock market, and a slew of other finite and very measurable factors.

However, brand value is less concrete.

It uses customer loyalty and brand recognition to gauge what a brand is worth to the people that buy it.

So the question is, what are you willing to pay for a company’s reputation?
