If you’ve lost a 50p piece down the back of the sofa lately, you’d better try and find it as it might be worth a few quid.
According to the Royal Mint, among the 200 million circulated heptagon-shaped coins, some are worth up to £650. It has listed the official mintage and when the rare 50p designs were made, reports the Mirror.
The coins have many different designs such as Harry Potter and Judo and the most sought-after coin is the Kew Gardens 50p. Below is a list of the Royal Mint’s rarest 50p coins and how much they’re selling for on eBay:
