Ayrshire's most popular baby names of 2022 have been revealed with parents broadly following national trends.
We revealed that Noah was Scotland's most popular boys' name after knocking Jack from the top of the beanstalk after more than a decade.
And Noah proved to be the most popular boys' name across Ayrshire as a whole with the Biblical name coming out on top in North and South Ayrshire too.
While Olivia was Scotland's most popular girls' name, it wasn't as popular in Ayrshire - ranking fourth overall across the county.
Instead, Freya took the top title of most popular girls' name in Ayrshire - topping in East and South Ayrshire.
Statisticians at the National Records of Scotland reckon that popular culture plays a huge role in the popularity of a name.
The national rise of Luca, could be put down to Luca Bish from last year's Love Island TV series - featuring at number 6 in Ayrshire.
While James has slipped in popularity across the nation, the name still places in Ayrshire's top 10.
