The Arizona Cardinals host the Detroit Lions on Sunday in what many believe will be a very entertaining, competitive game. But most of the country won’t get to see the game.
The NFL Week 3 TV coverage maps were released and the Cardinals will only get regional coverage.
The game airs on FOX, which gets a doubleheader in every market, is one of three games FOX will air in the 4:25 p.m. ET time slot.
Here is how the TV coverage map looks for the three games. The graphic comes from 506 Sports.
Ravens-Cowboys is FOX’s game of the week with the top broadcast pairing of Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady. That will be seen everwhere in the pink.
The blue areas get 49ers-Rams, while the Cardinals’ game against the Lions will air in the green areas only.
It is understandable because the other two games feature nationally intriguing teams. The Niners and Rams is a good game on paper, even though the Rams look really bad.
But what might be the best game is the Cardinals-Lions matchup and only the two teams’ regular viewing areas will see the game.
