Americans are less trusting of information from the government and are increasingly finding it difficult to figure out whether information they come across is true, according to a new survey.
The AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll found that a majority of Americans now do not trust information that is coming out of government agencies. The poll was conducted from July 29 to August 10 and surveyed 1,036 people. It has a margin of error of 4.1 percent.
