Moses Itauma vs Demsey McKean result: Itauma wins with first round KO

Heading into the fight, Itauma was the long odds-on favourite with the best boxing betting sites to preserve his unbeaten record and he did just that.

The 19-year-old is now the youngest heavyweight champion boxing has ever seen after sending McKean to the canvas a few times in the short two-minute bout.

The second knockdown proved to be the fatal blow and Itauma is without a doubt one of the best heavyweight prospects in the game at the minute.

Standing at six-foot-six tall, he has all the credentials to be one of boxing’s top dogs and nine of his 11 career wins have come by way of knockout.

The youngster has already fought on two Tyson Fury undercards in the Middle East and it won’t be long before Itauma has a big main event show of his own.

Itauma smashes Mike Tyson’s record and the sky looks the limit

Previously, it was Mike Tyson who held the title for youngest heavyweight champion in boxing when he beat Trevor Berbick as a 20-year-old in 1986.

Itauma, who was born in Slovakia before moving to England to live in Kent, turned professional one month after his 18th birthday and he’s already racked up plenty of wins.

With 11 in total and three so far in 2024, the young sensation is in the mix to be a part of some huge fights in the coming year where he will surely relish the opportunity.
