Mortal Kombat 1's latest trailer for its Khaos Reigns DLC reveals the return of fan-favorite Noob Saibot and shows off some gameplay as well as the character's Fatalities.

The returning character will be part of the game's Kombat Pack 2 and will arrive with the Khaos Reigns DLC. The latter is set to arrive on Sept. 24, 2024, and will include new story chapters and new characters.

New Noob Saibot Trailer

Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer NetherRealm Studios noted that there will be a bundle containing the Khaos Reigns DLC and the existing Kombat Pack 1 that will be available.

They noted that Kombat Pack 2 will not be available as a standalone character pack outside of the expansion.

The official overview also gave fans details on what they can expect to see in the story with the Khaos Reigns DLC.

In the New Era of Fire God Liu Kang, a godly Havik from a different timeline steals Bi-Han's soul in order to create the perfect henchman, Noob Saibot, according to Gematsu.

As Sub-Zero, Bi-Han was once Lin Kuei's ruthless Grandmaster who dreamed of making his clan one of the strongest forces in Earthrealm.

But as Noob Saibot, Bi-Han is dedicated to spreading anarchy across the realm and will not rest until he eradicates all forms of authority.

The upcoming DLC character's imposing moveset was shown on full display in the latest trailer for Mortal Kombat 1's Khaos Reigns expansion. The footage also showed his use of teleportation to slam down his opponents, ghostly projectiles, and shadow-assisted attacks.

Based on the trailer, it seems that Noob Saibot's Animality is based on his classic "Make a Wish" Fatality that was seen in Mortal Kombat 9.

The original version had the character splitting his foe in half by grabbing one leg and using his shadow clone to grab the other, said ComicBook.

Khaos Reigns DLC

In the new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer for Khaos Reigns, NetherRealm Studios showed Noob Saibot turning into a crocodile before chomping down on one of Liu Kang's legs. Then, a shadow clone crocodile grabs the other.

The upcoming Khaos Reigns expansion will feature the next phase in Mortal Kombat 1's narrative which is centered around peace and anarchy. The game's Kombat Pack 2 will include six playable characters for players to unlock.

Three of these, Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot, will arrive on Sept. 24, 2024, while the other three, Ghostface, T-1000, and Conan the Barbarian, will be coming at a later date, according to BleedingCool.
