Bosses at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham have confirmed the recently-cancelled Morrissey concert will not be rescheduled. Ticket holders for the show, that was arranged for the previous Sunday (July 9), had been advised to hold onto their tickets and await a further announcement.
In an update to fans on Tuesday (July 11), managers at the city centre venue reiterated their apology over the singer's cancellation, but said that the show will now not be rearranged.
In an updated statement staff said: "Morrissey has officially confirmed that the Nottingham show has been cancelled. Please accept our apologies for any disappointment this causes. If you booked directly through us, you will have received an email with further information. Thank you for your patience."

The singer, famed for an impressive solo back catalogue that includes the likes of Suedehead, First of the Gang to Die and Everyday Is Like Sunday, as well as his time fronting The Smiths, had been due to perform at the Royal Concert Hall as part of his current UK and Ireland tour, which began in Portsmouth the previous day (Saturday, July 8).
Bosses at the Concert Hall had told fans on the day of the planned Nottingham gig that the show had been cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances".
Fans previously took to Twitter to vent frustration about the cancellation. Many demanded an explanation from the singer, which still hasn't been given publicly, with some people having already paid for hotels.
Officials from Gigs and Tours, the official website of promoters SJM Concerts, said the singer's next show - at Millennium Square in Leeds on Wednesday (July 12) - remained 'unaffected' and was "due to go ahead as planned".
