An issue with online orders has left some Morrisons customers fuming. The supermarket chain has admitted payment issues are impacting some orders, with affected customers venting their frustrations online.
Shoppers have complained that deliveries are being cancelled "without warning" and that orders have been scrapped by Morrisons hours before they were due to be delivered. Some say they are having issues despite their payment details being valid and up to date, while others claim they can't put through new orders, reports The Mirror.
A Morrisons spokesperson told The Mirror: "We've not made any changes to our payment terms but we have seen a small number of customers experiencing issues making payments. We're working hard with our payment providers to resolve the issue."

An online help sheet on the Morrisons website says some accounts are being blocked until previously outstanding orders are paid. It advises people to update their payment details and also suggests some people have had trouble paying for a delivery pass.
Dozens of unimpressed shoppers have taken to Twitter to complain. @Judostewart tweeted: "@Morrisons, What is going on with your online orders? You have cancelled our order twice even though our payment card is up to date and valid.
"I tried your call centre but they just cut me off after I waited 40 minutes. Will our order go through or shall we go elsewhere?"
@Javilla__ wrote: "Why has my order been cancelled late night before the morning of delivery? There is nothing wrong with my payment details.
"You have taken payments from the same details the last several orders… And why is there no checks and warnings before this!"
@hippycat82 posted: "@Morrisons terrible new payment system. Won’t take payment and now won’t let me order again.
"Customer services can only apologies that it won’t work and admits a fault with your system. Not good enough. I want a refund on my delivery pass and will go back to Tesco."
@missnorty added: @Morrisons I've had an email saying that my payment for the order delivered Monday failed. I've tried to follow the instructions on the email to pay for the order but it is not letting me do so."
