Morrisons shoppers divided over 'pointless' Mini Eggs Cheesecake

Morrisons shoppers have become divided over the retailer's latest cheesecake which many have seen as rather 'pointless' with some saying they'd prefer to make their own at home.

The Easter product consists of the Mini Egg treats we all know and love sitting on a light cheesecake filling base.

The product looks large, costing just £3.50 and will be sold in their 'Cake Shop' rather than Morrisons' dessert aisles.

This isn't the first time the shop has seen this product as it was introduced last year and according to some, it was a best-seller.

Morrisons' Mini Eggs Cheesecake hasn't impressed some. (Newfoodsuk Facebook page.)

One said: "In my opinion this is going too far mini eggs are exquisite already. They don’t belong in anything else apart from the chocolate bar as an exception which is incredibly delicious."

Another added: "I went mad trying to find this last year. Wasn't great, plain and average. I'll make my own this year!"

A third commented: "I mean yes this looks amazing but it's just a cheesecake with mini eggs piled on it."
