Cash was stolen from tills by people "in dark clothing with covered faces" in a late night break in at a Morrisons store.
Police were called to Morrisons on Boundary Road, St Helens at around 1.20am on December 2 to reports of a break in. Three people gained entry to the store.
The group were inside the premises for around two and a half minutes before they left and are believed to have fled the area in a car.

All three wore dark clothing and had their faces covered. Despite several weeks having passed since the incident, Merseyside Police are hoping that residents in nearby homes or passing motorists could have smart doorbell or dashcam footage that could help their investigation.
Detective Inspector James Rotheram said: “We are urging anyone who lives in the area and has doorbell or CCTV footage to check at around 1.20am on Friday 2 December to see if they captured anything that could help our investigation.
“We are also appealing for any drivers that may have captured dashcam footage to please get in touch so we can bring them to justice.
