Supermarket giant Morrisons has been flooded with praise after it followed in ASDA's footsteps. Earlier this month ASDA divided shoppers with a controversial change to all stores.
In a bid to help shoppers save money, ASDA introduced its new Just Essentials range. The new ASDA range, which is easily spotted by its bright yellow labelling, has already proven a hit with shoppers - despite claims that the loud packaging was 'embarrassing poorer families."
Now Morrisons, too, has done something similar, and it's gone down a storm with shoppers. Morrisons says people can do an entire shop for just £26 using its Cupboard Essential shop range.

Included in the haul, you'll get items like toilet roll, water, tinned vegetables and pasta. Ash Pyot shared an image of the trolley on a popular Facebook group, and the comments quickly started rolling in.
She wrote: "Morrisons doing their own version of ASDA smart price range with Morrisons Savers Cupboard Essentials." Some pointed out that supermarkets have been doing own-brand ranges for years. Others praised the idea.
Emma Saunders said: "As long as I can feed my children, I don't care about the packaging. Times are tough and noone should have to feel ashamed having to resort to own brand products to feed their families."
Nadine Rosie-Ann Havill wrote: "Good for them but for a few quid more ASDA's give you dinner options." Paula Savage said: "There all at it now lol , well if it helps people why not , I love seeing all bargains."
Somebody else commented: "People may or may not be able to find cheaper alternatives but not everyone has access to more than one supermarket, some families have to shop at their nearest supermarket as they do not have a car and/or limited public transport."
Kayleigh Louise said: "Let's not argue on the ifs and buts and the ' this has been around for years ' cr ap... Let's just hope these posts go to help someone who is struggling."
Ewelina Jach joked: "Can’t wait for M&S version."
