This weekend brings the third bank holiday of May which is known as the Spring bank holiday and will fall on Monday May 29.
Like with other bank holidays in the year, supermarkets usually change their opening hours to reflect the day.

Morrisons late May bank holiday opening times 2023
Morrisons has confirmed that over the bank holiday weekend it's opening times will remain as normal and the only change will be seen on Monday May 29.
On a typical weekday or Saturday, Morrisons stores are open from either 6am or 7am and close 10pm or 11pm.
On Sundays, Morrisons in England and Wales are usually only open for six hours from 10am until 4pm or 11am until 5pm.
Morrisons Sunday opening hours will also remain the same this weekend.
In Scotland, stores are normally open 8am until 8pm - some can even be open until 10pm.
On bank holiday Monday (May 29) the majority of Morrisons stores will be open from 7am until 8pm in England and Wales.
Morrisons in Scotland will trade under their usual opening hours of 7am until 10pm on Monday.
Morrisons forecourts will be open from 6am until 9pm on bank holiday Monday.
Like other major chains, Morrisons also has smaller convenience stores called Morrisons Daily.
In our research, these stores appear to open as normal on the May Day bank holiday.
The majority of the smaller sites will be open from 6am or 7am until 10pm or 11pm on Monday.
However, you should be aware that some Morrisons Daily stores are franchised so are run by a third party rather than Morrisons themselves.
If you have a Morrisons Daily close to you - then you should definitely check before heading down as franchised sites can set their own opening times and could differ from other Morrisons stores.
