Motorists could save money on fuel this month as a leading supermarket has launched a huge January deal.
To help with the cost of living crisis, Morrisons announced it will be giving customers 5p off each litre at forecourts until January 15. Customers are eligible when they spend £35 in store and will then receive a voucher than they can redeem at a Morrisons petrol station.
Morrisons has more than 300 forecourts across the UK, including many here in Merseyside. Customers will have until January 22 to spend their vouchers for cheaper fuel, the Mirror reports.

The supermarket introduced the offer to help households save money on "one of the biggest expenses" it said people across the UK were currently facing. However some items are not included as part of your total £35 shop.
These include fuel, tobacco, lottery products, Morrisons Café, gift vouchers and cards, formula milk, cashback, dry cleaning, fireworks, online games and instant tickets, photo printing, saver stamps, postage stamps, Top-Up mobile phone cards, delivery charges, garden centre, and pharmacy.
Rachel Eyre, Chief Customer & Marketing Officer at Morrisons, said: "January is always a financial squeeze after the expense of Christmas and this year we know the cost of living continues to impact customers’ pockets too. Our fuel offer aims to help budgets go a little further by providing a saving on one of the biggest expenses people across the UK are facing."
Morrisons said the offer cannot be redeemed at any franchised Morrisons Daily petrol stations, so make sure your local petrol station can accept your voucher before heading down.
