Morocco opened the Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-0 victory over Comoros on a raucous night at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Brahim Diaz and Ayoub El Kaabi were on the scoresheet on a trickier evening than the Atlas Eagles had hoped for, but the AFCON hosts got the job done in front of their home fans.
