A Nevada supplement company has recalled a single lot of moringa capsules sold nationwide on Amazon after its ingredient supplier reported that FDA testing of the raw moringa leaf powder came back positive for Salmonella. No one has been reported ill from the product.
Relay Peak Research LLC, which does business as Zen Principle Naturals of Incline Village, announced the voluntary recall on July 19. It covers Zen Principle brand Moringa Capsules in 180-count plastic bottles carrying Lot A6FF4 and a best-by date of 11/2028, both printed on the bottom of the bottle. The recall applies to the single-bottle listing and the twin pack. No other Zen Principle products are affected.
