Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White has paid tribute to former Wolves team mate Joao Moutinho after it was confirmed he would leave the club.
The Portuguese will leave Molineux at the end of June when his contract expires after five years at the club. Moutinho made 212 outings in Old Gold and contributed with 30 goal involvements.
Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs said: "Joao’s going to go down as one of the best players to ever pull on the old gold, in my opinion. He was an integral part of the team the entire time he was here. Our success over the last four or five years, he’s been instrumental in. So, he now departs with nothing but thanks from the football club."

Many of Moutinho's Wolves team mates and supporters have paid their tribute on social media, describing him as the club's greatest ever players.
Gibbs-White, who shared the dressing room with the 36-year-old between 2018 and 2022 prior to his move to the City Ground, wrote on Instagram: "It was a pleasure to play and learn from you. I wish you all the best in the future. Magician!"
Moutinho has since reposted the message on his Instagram stories along with responses from captain Ruben Neves, Conor Coady, Pedro Neto, Nelson Semedo, Sasa Kalajdzic and John Ruddy.
