Morecambe boss pinpoints two January Bolton signings as 'real dangers' & pays Wanderers compliment

Bolton Wanderers are a 'very good football side' and the duo of Dion Charles and Marlon Fossey are two players who are 'real dangers' as part of a threatening attack.

That's the view of Morecambe boss Stephen Robinson.

Wanderers have won their last four games in the division keeping clean sheets in each of those encounters and head to the Mazuma Stadium seeking to extend that run.

The Shrimps sit 21st in the table at present and themselves will be aiming to return to winning ways on the third attempt.

Bolton can go as high as ninth should they pick up three points and results elsewhere on the day go their way.

And Shrimps boss Robinson believes his side must deal with many threats when Wanderers come to town on Saturday, and picked out January signings Charles and Fossey as two in particular.

Robinson said: "Bolton have been fantastic. I've watched three of their last four games. They're a very good football side. They've got a set way of playing and they won't change that for anybody, which is credit to them.

"They're a real threat. Dion Charles I worked with at Northern Ireland and Fossey, the right wing-back, are real dangers and threats upfront with whatever system they play, a 3-5-2 or a 4-3-3.

"They've got real threats at the top end of the pitch which we have to deal with."
