Documentary, factual tv and arts fans can now enjoy more content on demand, directly from their Freeview Play device, following the launch of the PBS America player. The player is home to content such as Ken Burns’ American history series, FRONTLINE & American Experience documentaries.
Freeview Play viewers will be able to catch up on content from the PBS America channel, as well as enjoy on demand box sets such as The Civil War and Country Music. The PBS America player will automatically roll out on Freeview Play devices and will be accessible via the Explore Freeview Play interface at Channel 100.
Explore Freeview Play is home to a universal search function and recommendations from across Freeview Play’s suite of players, to make finding what to watch that bit simpler. The app is the eleventh player on the Freeview Play line-up, joining BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, My5, UKTV Play, CBS Catchup Channels UK, Legend, STV Player, POP Player, and BBC Sounds.
