More thunder is expected across the region today, as forecasters predict stormy weather.
Over the weekend, a yellow weather warning for "sudden flooding" due to heavy rain was put in place for Merseyside. Despite the Met Office warning not being in place again today, rain and thunder is still on the forecast.
According to the Met Office, it will remaining unsettled with further heavy showers and thunderstorms around Liverpool. Temperatures will stay warm, with a maximum of 22C, but there will be a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers.

The forecast into tomorrow and for the rest of the week remains much of the same. The Met Office forecast for Liverpool reads: "Sunny spells and showers through Wednesday, these heavy and locally thundery.
"Drier Thursday, though the odd shower still possible. Rain arriving Friday. Staying warm with humid nights."
Sarah Cook, National Flood Duty Manager at the Environment Agency said that after heavy rain over the weekend could lead to flooding in some areas. Although the flood warning isn't in place today, there may still be some surface water flooding that people should be aware of as rain begins to fall.
She said: "On Sunday afternoon and into the night, slow-moving heavy showers and thunderstorms could lead to localised surface water flooding across England. Environment Agency teams are out on the ground and will support local authorities in responding to surface water flooding.
"We urge people not to drive though flood water – it is often deeper than it looks and just 30cm of flowing water is enough to float your car. People should check their flood risk, sign up for free flood warnings and keep up to date with the latest situation at https://www.gov.uk/check-if-youre-at-risk-of-flooding or follow @EnvAgency on Twitter for the latest flood updates."
