More than 70 firefighters are tackling a blaze at a derelict hotel on Blackpool promenade.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the four-storey building at 2.46pm on Monday, April 24, following reports of a fire. 12 fire engines, two aerial platforms, one stinger and the drone team arrived at the scene.
Firefighters are wearing breathing apparatus and using four jets to bring the fire under control. There are several road closures in place including Queens Promenade in both directions, Gynn Avenue in both directions and Dickson Road northbound.

All trams have also been stopped in Blackpool. People living in the area are being asked to close their windows and doors and stay inside.
A spokesperson from the fire service added they are working with Lancashire Police, Blackpool Council and other partners in a "multi-agency response".
Chief Fire Officer for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, Justin Johnson, said work is still ongoing and that the building itself is "unstable".
He said: "Currently in attendance at a large derelict hotel fire on Queens Promenade in Blackpool. 12 pumps. 1 Stinger and 2 ALP.
"Approx 70 firefighters from across the county working well to bring under control and prevent fire spread to other buildings. Four floors, roof space and basement well alight. Crews working in breathing apparatus at front and rear and protecting adjoining building. Structure is unstable."
