More than 6,000 unauthorised passengers fined for traveling in WR's AC local in April

WR Western Railway Mumbai

MUMBAI: With the start of summer season, Western Railway (WR) has stepped up vigil in AC services to weed out unauthorised passengers from entering these trains. In the month of April alone, a total of 6,353 passengers were caught traveling without proper ticket.

This is almost 260 percent increase compared to April 2022 when 1754 people were caught.
