Federal immigration agents have detained at least 506 U.S. citizens during President Donald Trump's second administration, according to a ProPublica investigation published October 6 that documents encounters involving children, workers and people recording enforcement operations.
The tally includes at least 70 children and teenagers, 63 citizens detained while recording, and 36 held for at least a day without access to lawyers or relatives. Those categories can overlap.
