More than 350 jobs will be available at a Newcastle International Airport careers fair this month.
The event will be held on Friday, January 27, at St James’ Park, in collaboration with the Newcastle United Foundation and the SAFC Foundation of Light. Those who attend the fair will get information about positions available at the airport, such as security officers, passenger services assistants, cleaning operatives and car parking operatives.
There will also be vacancies with the airport’s on-site business partners, including Jet2.com, World Duty Free, Boots, WHSmith, SSP and Dnata. Alongside flexible shift patterns and a mixture of full and part-time positions, people can expect to find entry level roles as well as team leader and managerial vacancies.

The careers fair comes as Newcastle Airport prepares for a busy summer in 2023 and is looking to expand its workforce in response to the demand. Nick Jones, chief executive of Newcastle International Airport, said: "This summer we are expecting even more passengers to pass through our doors heading off on a well-deserved break.
"As such, we are looking to grow the teams across the airport to ensure we can provide the high levels of customer service that our customers expect. The aviation industry offers excellent career prospects and with a range of roles available. I would encourage anyone looking for employment or simply for a new challenge to come along and find out more information."
The careers fair is free to attend. You can register at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/489385584457
