A new development is set to bring more than 250 new homes, 'makers spaces' and green space to Ancoats.
The Phoenix Ironworks project is being managed by Manchester Life, a joint-venture between the council and the Abu Dhabi United Group. The firm has developed a swathe of Ancoats over the last decade.
Now it wants to renovate a former ironworks on Jersey Street. The site, which is also bound by Radium Street, Naval Street, and Poland Street, is currently used for storage and warehousing.
