More than 2000 pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels - including hundreds in London - will close this year without a massive rethink on business rates, the Government was warned today.
Trade body UKHospitality said its modelling suggested 2,076 business will close - around six a day - as they struggle to pay their bills as business rates go up in April.
