More than 10,000 people on waiting list at Merseyside NHS Trust

Trust NHS Merseyside NHS Trust

It has been revealed that more than 10,000 people are on the waiting list for one Merseyside and West Lancashire NHS Trust.

The latest figures from the NHS website show that at the end of December 2021 there were 11,575 people on the waiting list at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital Trust, with 136 waiting more than a year for an appointment.

The government recently announced it intends to cut waiting lists down by 2024.
