TfL wants a default 20mph speed limit on all residential roads
(Picture: TfL)About £150m a year is to be spent on walking and cycling schemes and more roads are to have the speed limit cut to 20mph, Transport for London said on Wednesday.
TfL announced that schemes to make the capital’s roads safer – which were paused during the pandemic due to a lack of cash - would be restarted.
