Moped driver who killed ‘Gone Girl’ actress Lisa Banes pleads guilty to manslaughter

NEW YORK — The moped driver who slammed into “Gone Girl” actress Lisa Banes and left her to die on Manhattan street pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges on Wednesday.

Brian Boyd struck Banes with his unregistered electric moped at West 64th Street and Amsterdam Avenue on June 4, 2021. He took off but was arrested a month later.

Banes, 65, died 10 days later at Mount Sinai-Morningside Hospital.
