A monster 'bad boy' jellyfish washed up on a beach at a popular seaside village in north Wales.
The huge fish was found on the foreshore at Fairbourne, in what was the latest in a series of giant jellyfish beachings in the county of Gwynedd, North Wales Live reports. It was brought in by the tide to the mouth of the Mawddach estuary across the water from Barmouth.
It was estimated to measure around one metre across, sparking people to label it a 'monster' and a 'bad boy'. One theory is that the jellyfish was lured inshore by the 'fishy' algal blooms recently reported along the coasts of Gwynedd and Ceredigion.
