Fashion brand Monsoon has announced it has permanently closed its store on Glasgow’s Buchanan Street.
Passersby predicted the closure of the city centre shop after spotting mannequins and cardboard boxes stacked in front of the store's windows last night.
And employees have now confirmed that they have officially shut the doors for the last time after the remaining stock was cleared out.
The team posted a sign on the window that read: "The time has come to say goodbye.
"We would like to thank our customers past and present for their support over the years.
"Thank you again & keep shopping!

The closure of the women's clothing store follows the announcement that independent jewellers Laings would soon be moving into the space previously occupied at Monsoon at 68/70 Buchanan Street.
We previously reported that the luxury jewellery brand Laings had signed a 15-year lease to take over the entirety of Rowan House.
Currently occupying the second and third floor office space, the family-run jeweller submitted a planning application to revitalise the 19th century retail and office development as part of a £5million investment.
Laings is proposing to transform the full stone-built five-storey building and occupy the full 34,468 sq ft unit.
The basement, third and fourth floors will provide office space, with an enhanced hospitality area on the fifth floor, while the second floor will host a brand-new watch workshop.
