Suspected and confirmed cases of monkeypox should self-isolate for 21 days, the Public Health Agency has said.
The advice comes after the first case of the virus was detected in Northern Ireland, in what health officials say was "not unexpected".
To protect patient confidentiality, the PHA says no further details relating to the patient who has monkeypox will be disclosed.
