Money Saving Expert is warning all Tesco Clubcard holders that in just under three months their points could become considerably less valuable.
Millions of UK shoppers regularly use the loyalty card on trips to Tesco, for anything from a big shop to a meal deal. The points can then be "spent" in store, or converted to vouchers to be used elsewhere.
Customers who opt to swap points for a voucher with one of Tesco's "Reward Partners", such as Pizza Express and Legoland, currently triple the monetary value.

For example, 500 points is worth a £5 Tesco voucher, but at the moment if you instead exchange for a Reward Partner voucher, 500 points would be worth £15.
But from June 14, points will only be doubled when exchanging for Reward Partner codes, according to MoneySavingExpert. It adds that Clubcard points are valid for two years, but once swapped for rewards they usually then expire after six months.
However, Tesco is extending the validity of rewards for an extra six months leading up to June 14, so there's plenty of time to spend them. Any Reward Partner codes ordered before this date will continue to be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
