While we all love a good trip out to the cinema to see the latest film, it can be one of those family trips that can end up costing more than you intended.
On top of the cost of the tickets, you know you'll end up buying some popcorn and maybe a tango ice blast - because, no cinema trip is complete without the snacks.
Add that on to current rising cost of living - which includes energy bills and supermarket prices - and heading to the cinema is usually something that families can afford once in a while.
Which is why it will come as welcome news to many that all Cineworld and Picturehouse cinemas across Scotland are offering tickets for just £3 this Saturday.
The exclusive deal is available in all Cineworld locations across Scotland - which includes Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh - as well as the Edinburgh based Picturehouse.
Sharing the savvy tip to the recent edition of the weekly Money Saving Expert Newsletter from the popular Martin Lewis website, the expert explained how shoppers can snap up the bargain.
The money saving expert revealed that the exclusive cinema tickets offer will only be available on Saturday, 26 February, where you can catch the latest films for just £3.
Shoppers will be able to book their tickets as normal at Cineworld or Picturehouse for any screening this Saturday and where tickets have automatically been reduced to just £3.
Adult tickets usually cost nearly £10 in certain cinemas depending on the location, meaning you can use the extra pennies for snacks or to keep in your pockets.
And that's not all, as the exclusive deal will also be available in Cineworld's IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX and Superscreen, which are very rarely discounted!
The £3 tickets deal covers all ages, so that means that the whole family can enjoy a nice trip out this weekend for much less.
The money saving expert also explains that Three Mobile customers can also get £3 Cineworld tickets for any 2D movie each week on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday via the Three+ rewards app.
You can book Cineworld tickets here and Picturehouse tickets here.
