Money Saving Expert have released a new app to help with cost of living crisis.
At present, inflation is soaring with many people seeing the likes of their shopping and energy bills rise beyond what they can afford.
A prominent figure throughout has been Martin Lewis, founder of Money Saving Expert (MSE), who has been helping people where possible in a bid to ease any financial pressure.

All of this comes as the MSE founder called for urgent intervention as energy bills are expected to soar to nearly £4,000 by January.
So what do you need to know about the app? Here's everything you should be aware of.

the app is simply called 'MoneySavingExpert'.
How much is the MoneySavingExpert app?
The app is thankfully free and won't cost you a penny. MSE state: "All parts of MoneySavingExpert, including MSE's app, are completely free to use. You don't have to make any in-app payments to unlock any of the features within the app."
Where can I download the MoneySavingExpert app?
The MSE app can be found on the Apple store or Google Play Store.
If you have an iPhone, it will need to run on iOS 14 or above and if you have an Android phone, it will need to run on version 6.0 Marshmallow (API 23) or above. However, due to some hardware limitations, the app may not work on all devices (typically older ones).
What can I do in the MoneySavingExpert app?
MSE have said that the app gives you access to the MSE site all in a "super-easy app format."
They add: "It includes the usual staples – the latest MoneySaving news, top deals and in-depth guides, as well as vital cost of living help. It also provides quick access to all sections of the main MSE site and weekly email at the tap of a screen, plus it allows you to easily delve into MSE's 30+ MoneySaving tools.
"We're also experimenting and testing a way to bring you tailored tips through a feature called 'MyMSE'. We want to help slash your bills by learning more about your spending, interests and MoneySaving goals.
"We're only just starting out on this journey and we are working to make it much more powerful – we are listening to feedback and suggestions from users as we continue to develop the app."
