With the warm weather and Summer holidays on the horizon, fashion fans are gearing up for barbecues, weddings, races and various other events. But dressing for Summer events isn't always a cheap affair - and can often prove costly.
The posh footwear brand Kurt Geiger isn't known for running regular discounts in its stores, but there’s a little-known website which owned by the retailer that serves as an outlet, where you can get up to 75 per cent of Kurt Geiger, Miss KG and Carvela - to name just a few.

The outlet store is named on the MoneySavingExpert website, founded by Martin Lewis. It explains: “By shopping online in its Shoeaholics outlet you can often save as much as 75% versus the normal high street price of its shoes, handbags and accessories.
“Shoeaholics is owned by Kurt Geiger, in addition to its own labels (eg, Miss KG and Carvela).”
The cheapest pair of shoes on Shoeaholics at the moment is the KG Kurt Geiger rogue sandals, which were £59 but are down to £19, which are perfect for the summer. Meanwhile, you can get Laines of London slippers for under £20, despite retailing at £55, as well as Miss KG Evara sandals for £24, down from £69.
Other brands which have reduced items on the site include Michael Kors and Barbour, as well as Lauren by Ralph Lauren and UGG.
The only problem with it being an outlet is that sometimes shoe sizes are limited, so it’s worth using the filters to see what’s available in your size.
But it’s not just shoes that are on offer, with a number of designer handbags and jewellery on sale, with prices starting at £5 for a Kurt Geiger face mask.
Some of the most popular styles include the Kurt Geiger London Mini Kensington, which is said to be ‘selling fast’ according to the site. It was originally £219, but has been reduced by 60 per cent, down to £79. Or if you’re in the market for a new pair of heeled boots, the Simran style from KG are now £49, down by 70 per cent from £179.
It’s not the only retailer where you can get cut-price clothing and accessories, though. Martin Lewis previously spoke about a site called Everything5Pound on ITV's Good Morning Britain (GMB), where he explained that the site buys leftover and excess stock from retailers like Marks and Spencer, River Island, Oodie and Karen Millen, and sells it for a fraction of the price.
He explained that they're 'often not branded', so whether or not you get a high-end high street item is a bit of luck. I’ve previously ordered from the site and received dresses and skirts from Boohoo, Topshop and Oasis - so it is a bit of a brand lottery, but if you like the piece, £5-£6 is a very reasonable price.
Shoe lovers can also pick up a range of ex-display shoes from Dr Marten, Timberland and Steve Madden for a snip of the price at Schuh, with dozens of womens, kids and mens styles starting from under £10.
But if it is Kurt Geiger and similar designer brands you’re looking for, you can shop everything on the Shoeaholics website here.
