'Money and weapons' seized during drug raid

Police seized a large knife as they made three arrests during a drug raid.

Inspector Thomas Hall, of Widnes Local Policing Unit, said Cheshire officers supported by Merseyside colleagues executed a warrant at a property in Hough Green, Widnes, on Monday, December 19. A picture accompanying the post showed a large knife with curved edges, a serrated section and guarded hilt, plus sheaf, which had both been placed on an evidence bag.

Insp Hall said officers made three arrests. These were on suspicion of being concerned in supplying the Class A drugs heroin and crack cocaine.
