Police seized a large knife as they made three arrests during a drug raid.
Inspector Thomas Hall, of Widnes Local Policing Unit, said Cheshire officers supported by Merseyside colleagues executed a warrant at a property in Hough Green, Widnes, on Monday, December 19. A picture accompanying the post showed a large knife with curved edges, a serrated section and guarded hilt, plus sheaf, which had both been placed on an evidence bag.
Insp Hall said officers made three arrests. These were on suspicion of being concerned in supplying the Class A drugs heroin and crack cocaine.

Writing on Tuesday, he said: “Yesterday officers from Widnes proactive and Merseyside Police attended an address in Hough Green during a joint operation targeting county lines.
“Three adults were arrested for being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs namely heroin and crack cocaine.
“Officers also recovered money and weapons.
“ Cheshire Police will not tolerate county lines drug dealing.
“Three adults remain in custody.”
