Scots teacher accused of having sex with pupil after boozy prom night
A former Scots pupil has claimed he had sex with his PE teacher after he drank pints, wine, rum and shots at prom.
The pupil, known only as Pupil A, gave evidence relating to a list of allegations made against teacher Melissa Tweedie on Monday, February 7.
Miss Tweedie, who was 23 at the time, is alleged to have partied with pupils at SWG3 nightclub in Glasgow before going back with them to a Premier Hotel in June 2017.
The former PE teacher at Gleniffer High School in Paisley, Renfrewshire, allegedly danced inappropriately with pupils before sleeping with the pupil, who was 18.
Audi flips on roof in crash amid snowy conditions near Scots ski centre
A car ended up flipping onto its roof in snowy conditions near a Scots ski centre yesterday.
Emergency services raced to the A93 near Glenshee Ski Centre after the alarm was raised at around 12pm on Sunday, February 6.
They found the white Audi which had crashed and overturned on the road.
A video taken by a father and daughter passing the scene captured the chaotic scene during the extreme weather conditions.
In the clip, the vehicle can be seen smashed and upside down on the road.
Drivers caught out by new £100 card 'charges' at petrol pumps
Drivers have been caught out on new measures in place at petrol pumps which 'charge'' them £100.
Changes brought in by Visa and MasterCard means £100 is automatically taken from your account as part of a pre-authorisation check, reports Birmingham Live.
The previous amount was £1 before the exact amount would then be debited from your account.
Checks are carried out to ensure that drivers have enough money in their account to pay for the fuel. The cash never leaves the customer's account and they are only charged for the amount of fuel that they have filled up with.
However, customers cannot spend the ring fenced cash until it has been released.

Turn2Us estimates that a staggering £15 billion has been left unclaimed, which averages out at approximately £2,900 per unclaimed benefit, simply because many people currently working do not realise, or think, they are eligible to apply for Universal Credit.
A common reason for people missing out on financial support from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is due to lack of understanding about Universal Credit eligibility requirements and how even if someone is in work, they could qualify for the benefit.
