Monaghan take on Clare this afternoon in the second group stage game of the All-Ireland football championships.
It's been an okay start for Monaghan who managed to pick up a point on matchday one with a tense 14-14 draw with reigning Ulster Champions and back-to-back winners Derry.
As for Clare, their season has been poor so far. The Banner dropped out of division two for the first time in years after an inconsistent National League campaign. They did reach a Munster final, however they were dispatched with ease by Kerry.
