This video shows the moment two women were dragged out of a Manchester theatre as the performance was stopped early after police were called in.
The Bodyguard musical had to be stopped early at Manchester's Palace Theatre on Friday night due to audience members singing over the top of performers. The show had asked the public to not sing during the performance, with signs installed around the auditorium.
However, after the musical was briefly paused during its first act on Friday evening to evict a handful of people who would not refrain from singing, the show had to be finished early after police were called 10 minutes before its finale. Theatre-goers told the M.E.N. that all members of the public were told to leave with the remainder of the show cancelled, with "mini riots" and "fights" breaking out among audience members before the announcement.
