Moment impromptu Glasgow Subway gig of Scottish classic song breaks out

A video has been doing the rounds on the Glasgow side of TikTok after a band filmed themselves picking up their musical instruments for an impromptu gig.

Taking to the video sharing platform, two members of the band, Liquid Spirit, played a rather well known tune and later uploaded the very wholesome video.

Not only did the passengers clearly love it but it seems everyone else loved it too, with the video having since received almost 10,000 views.

The band has uploaded several videos of them singing with them covering Lewis Capaldi, The Beatles as well as John Mayer.

But in the footage, both members of the band, Kim and Lee, are seen singing something a little different, as they busted out a Scottish classic, 'Ye Canny Shove Yer Grannie' as they waited to board the Subway in Kelvinhall.

Starting at the Subway station, they later made their way onto the Subway itself and belted out the tune yet again - all whilst laughing and having quite the night.

Taking to the comments people were loving the gig as one quoted the very fitting "people make Glasgow" slogan.

In response one said: "Best impromptu gig!" whilst another who seemed to be present at the gig said: "Most fun I’ve had on the subway."
