This is the moment a car crashed into a wall and through a pedestrian crossing before rolling onto its side.
The footage, caught on CCTV, was shared widely on social media following the incident on Birkenhead Road in Meols, Wirral, at around 1.45am on Sunday, July 2. The footage shows the bright headlights of a car come into shot before the vehicle collides with a brick wall.
A huge cloud of smoke appears as the car continues at speed before crashing into a grey internet box and the traffic light of a pedestrian crossing. The car then rolls onto its side before bouncing off another brick wall.
