Bruno Guimaraes' imagination appears to hold no bounds as he continues to thrill Newcastle United fans in a black and white shirt. Heard the one about the bloke who once tackled somebody with a backheel, nutmegged him and went on to score? If not read on...
When you think of defensive midfielders at United and great names like Paul Bracewell or David Batty spring to mind, but in Newcastle's boy from Brazil they seem to have a player that has it all. But when Jesper Verlaat took an iffy touch, Bruno who had already anticipated he was going to be in trouble audaciously tackled him with a backheel before nutmegging his opponent in one fell swoop! And he wasn't finished there as he exchanged passes with Chris Wood before firing the ball home to score a wonderfully crafted goal for the Magpies.
